A prestigious photographic event that has been running since 1950 has opened for an annual exhibition.
New town mayor Cllr Gary Tibbs officially opened the Wisbech and District Camera Club’s 66th exhibition which has prints on a diverse range of subject The exhibition is at the Wisbech and Fenland Museum until May 28 open on Tuesdays to Saturday 10am to 4pm.
The club has a full programme throughout the year with competitions, guest speakers and practical nights which help members to improve their skills
Affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain through the East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies the membership fee is £40 per year and £1 fee on every club night when they meet at Wisbech Football Club on Mondays at 7.30pm from September through to May.
