Design and technology prospects from Wisbech Grammar School were praised for their hard work and talents at a special prize-giving ceremony.

Over 50 parents, pupils and guests attended the awards ceremony held to recognise the achievements of the school’s GCSE and A-Level design technology students.

James Horsburgh won designer of the year in the GCSE section, William Davis was the AS-Level designer of the year, Charles Pindar was named A-Level designer of the year and most improved went to Ethan Jutsum.

Each winner received a trophy and a £20 gift voucher,

Rob Frost, head of DT at Wisbech Grammar School, said: “On behalf of the DT department and the headmaster we would like to thank once again all who attended for their many positive comments and for giving up their time to support all the pupils who have worked very hard this year to create innovative and well-crafted products.”
