Mayor of Wisbech Councillor Garry Tibbs was on hand to wish a group of Wisbech pilgrims a happy journey as they set out for the Norfolk village of Walsingham.
Cllr Tibbs said ‘Bon voyage’ to the Wisbech Interfaith Forum who set off on their travels on April 1.
They will meet with other groups from across East Anglia to stage the second Interfaith pilgrimage.
Cllr Tibbs said: “I am delighted to have been asked to commend this group as they set off.
“I am proud to learn that Wisbech will contribute the largest number to this event which is a sign of the positive spirit which is present in our community.”
