A fundraising page has been set up to help a 10-year-old from Wisbech travel to Holland to compete at an international tang soo do competition.
Nakita Davies has qualified to take part in the World Tang Soo Do Championships this October, but needs to raise over £400 so she and her mum Lucy can get there.
The fundraising page, which was set up by Lucy, reads: “Nakita is very talented and has the opportunity to attend the European championships, held in Amsterdam.
“Nakita is desperate to take part in the competition and I would like her to experience this opportunity.
“As it stands I am unable to fund this. I have tried to raise funds via car boots and have offered our services to local residents for a donation. So far we have had little luck.
“I am only raising for the stay, I have managed to get our passports.”
So far only £30 has been raised.
Donna Harvey, who runs Wisbech & King’s Lynn Tang Soo Doo, a local martial arts club for children and adults, said: “Nakita is a shinning example of a great student. She trains four lessons a week and also assists with the Tiny Tiger class.
“Her attitude and etiquette both in and out of class are second to none. This young lady leads by example, not only to my other younger students, but to the whole class.
“I can’t think of anyone more deserving of this opportunity that Nakita, so please dig deep and let’s write this little star a new chapter in her life.”
“We are desperately trying to raise the funds so Nakita and her mother can go. Let’s see if we can raise some local support for the little champ.”
Simon Lloyd-Jones, who donated £10, wrote: “Good luck! Go get some trophies.”
Another person who donated said: “One way or any other we’ll get you there.”

What is Tang Soo Do?
“The exact origin of Tang Soo Do, as with most ancient martial arts, is obscure, but the ancestral art of Korean Tang Soo Do can be traced back around 2000 years,” said Donna Harvey.”
