Fifteen scarecrows and 80 yard sales helped raise £450 for charity at a yearly event.
Money raised from the fourth annual Friday Bridge and Elm yard sale and scarecrow competition will go towards the Friends of North Cambs Hospital in Wisbech.
Janet Wardle, one of the organisers, said: “Once again Richard Barnwell, of Clifford Cross, Wisbech, very kindly judged the scarecrows with the help of Tina Brooks, of Friday Bridge.
“The scarecrows were of a very high standard again this year and the prize-giving was held at The Chequers pub in Friday Bridge.
The first prize of £25 and the annual trophy was awarded to Bob Wardle for his petrol attendant serving petrol at five shillings a gallon.
Bob said: “As I organised the event I felt it only appropriate to donate the £25 to the hospital fund.
“I would also like to thank all my neighbours who gave donations.”
