A man suffered a head injury after falling from scaffolding in Wisbech.
The man, in his 50s, was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by Magpas paramedics after falling onto iron girders at around 12.30pm on Saturday (December 9).
A Magpas spokesman said: “The Magpas enhanced medical team assessed the man who had sustained a head injury and administered advanced pain relief (providing him with A&E level care).
“The Magpas Air Ambulance doctor and paramedic then flew the patient to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, monitoring his condition all the way. The man was in a very serious but stable condition upon arrival.”
