Wisbech Grammar School’s Cricket Academy has seen cricketers aged nine to 14 having “great fun whilst improving their skills”.
Coached by Neil Taylor and James Williams, both with experience teaching young cricketers, the academy has seen 30 boys and girls attend the nine sessions.
Neil Taylor is involved with Norfolk Youth Cricket as chairman and county age group coach while James Williams is the director of performance and player development.
A spokesman said: “The pupils have been assisted by ex Norfolk player and ECB Level 2 coach Peter Coote, and current Norfolk opening bowler and ECB Level 2 coach Ben Coote.
“The sessions have focused on the technical, tactical, physical and mental aspects of cricket.
“All young players have shown significant improvements and a passion for the game.
“Thanks must go to Phil Webb, Wisbech Grammar’s director of sport, for all his hard work in organising the Academy.
“We hope all the players have an enjoyable and successful season.”
