Two sisters aged 102 and 93 got in the carnival spirit when a Wisbech supermarket held a fund raising day for children with cancer.
The pair were full of smiles as they enjoyed a game of hook a duck, just one of a heap of activities raising money for CLIC Sargent.
Morison’s was awash with fun and games to raise £278 for the charity.
Deborah Thulborn, community champion, said: “There was a great atmosphere with people getting involved. Especially the two sisters, that was lovely to see.
“We raised £278.”
Activities included pick a straw, a tombola, raffle of a chocolate bouquet and colouring competition.
CLIC Sargent is the charity of choice for the national supermarket chain for three years with stores around Britain doing their bit to help raise funds for young people.
A spokesman for CLIC Sargent said: “The charity’s care teams fight to limit the damage cancer causes. They will listen, and ask the right questions, so that they can provide the right support, tailored to each young person and family.
“This might mean arranging a CLIC Sargent grant or helping young people and families get the benefits they are entitled to.”
