REFERRING to the article about the Village Community Centre in St Michael's Avenue, Wisbech Lions are using the excellent facilities offered by the centre. In March this year, Wisbech Lions held a casino evening when £200 was donated to MAGPAS. On September 16 Wisbech Lions are organising a Race Night, with the Macmillan Committee. Tickets available from Lion Bill Batrick (01945 461728). On October 6 Wisbech Lions will again be at the Centre for their annual conker championship.
