WISBECH teenager Eleanor Teasdale is officially one of the brightest students in Britain.
The 18-year-old recorded five A grades at A-level in Law, Maths, Further Maths, Statistics and Physics. She also scored one of the top five national marks on her Statistics paper.
Eleanor, known as Elly, took the A-levels at the College of West Anglia's campus in King's Lynn and said she was shocked to find an acceptance letter from Cambridge University on her doormat last Wednesday.
She will be starting at the Gonville and Caius College in October to study a maths degree, after passing Cambridge maths tests with flying colours, but Elly does not yet know what she would like to do after university.
Staff at the College of West Anglia said they were thrilled with Elly's results and that it was a tribute to her hard work as well as that of the staff.
