A FARMER has appealed for witnesses after her combine harvester was destroyed by arsonists in a field near Wisbech.
Sally Fenn spoke today of the incident which happened last Wednesday evening after her employee had left the combine harvester in a field at Gadds Lane, Leverington.
Arsonists got into the cab and set light to it, completing destroying the vehicle.
Ms Fenn, who is the third generation of her family to run the farm, said luckily harvesting had nearly finished for the season.
Cambs Police have appealed for anyone in the vicinity of Gadds Lane on August 15 between 10pm and 10.30pm when the harvester was set alight.
