A LAWNMOWER valued at more than £2,000 was stolen along with other goods from a property in Elm.
The Westwood S1400H model was taken from an outbuilding in Gosmoor Lane between 9.30pm last Thursday and 8.35am Friday.
A Stihl hedge-trimmer and a Ryobi strimmer were also stolen by the burglars who forced a lock to get into the building.
There has been a recent spate of lawnmower and tractor thefts in the Wisbech area and across the border into Norfolk and police are appealing for information.
Pc Adam Pearce said: "I would like to hear from anyone who has information about this theft or saw anything suspicious on Thursday/Friday night.
