EXCLUSIVE by MAGGIE GIBSON

STATE-of-the-art motorcycle helmets worth more than £15,000 have been stolen from Outwell.

Managing director of Wynn3 Ltd, Wynn Connell, is offering a reward for information leading to the recovery of the helmets or the prosecution of those responsible.

The Stow Road premises were burgled on Friday evening after thieves broke the locks to the building.

Mr Connell said the highly-sought-after Premier helmets, including Ruben Xaus replicas and Carbon Café Racers, were easily identifiable. There were also one-offs and preproduction samples. Each helmet is worth hundreds of pounds.

Wynn3 sources and distributes quality motorcycle accessories. Mr Connell said: "We are wholesalers rather than retailers so we don't get many people visiting. There are no markings on the buildings to say what we do so whoever did this must have done their research.

"I don't realistically think there is a chance of getting the helmets back but what I want to do is make it difficult for them to profit from the break-in. I am contacting as many people as I can to make it as difficult as possible for them to sell the helmets on. The reward I am offering is quite a substantial one."

# Anyone with information about the break-in or who is offered any suspiciously-cheap Premier motorcycle helmets should contact Norfolk police on 0845 456 4567 or Wynn3 direct on 01945 772082.
