AS a former head-teacher for twenty years I heartily support the comments made in your paper last week by Councillor Roger Green regarding the postponement of the funding for the new college campus in March.
I would respectfully suggest that most people in Wisbech did not want the college closed in the first place and would be delighted if it stayed here.
Some might question why the residents of Wisbech should support your campaign.
If it is successful it will result in the college still moving from the town with its consequent effect on education in Wisbech and will be yet another example of a facility in Wisbech being moved out of the town for the benefit of people elsewhere.
