WISBECH: Hands off our gardens.

I AM one of the home owners whose garden the council wants to sell off to the highest bidder.
Looking through old council records it appears to me that the make up of the current council is pretty much the same as it has been over many years, mainly Tory with a smattering of independents.
This being the case the people who did not have the foresight to conserve the tramway that would have given the town a unique tourist attraction, the council who filled in the canal rather than preserve it as a leisure facility and the council that agreed to the demolition of the Octagon church and several historic Public Houses in town are telling me that they are going to annexe my garden that I have owned, fenced and cultivated for over 20 years because they would make a better use of it.
I don't think so.
