AS part of the history and heritage of Wisbech, I would have thought the castle would make an ideal venue for the tourist information centre.
It is central to the town and near most of the historic features.
Incorporate a cafe as well by all means, but not as its sole use please.
In Ely they use the Oliver Cromwell House as their tourist information centre and have done for years and it makes an ideal venue for tourists/visitors to start from.
Transferring the tourist information centre would have the added advantage of freeing up space for the FDC One Stop Shop.
