IN REGARDS to the story about the conman who stole almost �1,000 from a charity based at Addenbrooke's Hospital: this is truly disgusting what he has done.
My partner and I stayed at Acorn House just before Christmas as our one-year-old daughter was on a life support machine fighting pneumonia.
She has since made a full recovery but we really don't know where we would have been without Acorn House.
We have since raised some money for the Sick Children's Trust and will endeavour to do so in the future.
