WHEN we had the pleasure of working in several schools in Wisbech and other parts of Cambridgeshire, we wondered where are the apathetic and obese children we are often told about in the news?
We worked with whole schools in different sessions and, without exception, the children were buzzing with energy and alive with interest.
Learning a dance, when they were asked "would you like to do it again, or have a rest?" they always replied "do it again!". They learned Spanish words and phrases very quickly, and asked intelligent and relevant questions.
Can it be something in the local air?
