STAFF at Peckover House in Wisbech have chosen a name for their new bright pink composter after visitors submitted a list of suggestions.
The composter will be known as ‘Patience’ - a quality that the Quaker Peckover family would have valued.
The decision was a difficult one with other name suggestions including ‘Truffles’, ‘Compo’, ‘Rollo’, ‘Snorter’, ‘Buttercup’ and ‘Sausage’.
Visitors are now invited to visit Patience and discover how to be green by composting your garden waste.
