I HAVE an idea to solve the problem of fast cars etc in Walton Road.
Cambridgeshire workers dig rumble strips in the road on the Norfolk side of Walton Road for about a quarter of a mile. This will slow vehicles coming into Wisbech.
With all the spoil and tarmac they have dug up, mixed with recycled car tyres, crumble and lay it on the road on the Wisbech side. This will level out all the humps and pot holes, stopping vehicles smacking the houses.
It will cost very little in materials, all recycled just labour charges.
