I AM writing in response to a letter in your publication dated May 9 from a Paul Galloway.
Having already submitted a letter regarding the Sixteen Foot Bank, may I say that I am always in full control of my vehicle, not like some people I have seen driving down the road I hasten to add.
My point being that I am more cautious at that particular part of the road. For the people that are not aware of the uneven road a caution sign would make them also more aware at that particular spot. Call it a risk assessment or an accident waiting to happen.
May I also say that I live here for the lovely views, but if a few extra signs were put up near my house and saved even 1 life and not to mention the cost of a rescue operation then I would be happy to see them ,and not memorial flowers on the side of the road.
