TO show our appreciation to soldiers serving in Afghanistan I feel it is patriotic and our duty to help them. One way is to send a parcel. Suggested content biscuits fruit cake boiled sweets books magazines CDs pot noodles and anything else you consider appropriate (no chocolate).
Our soldiers in Afghanistan do so truly enjoy receiving a parcel from those of us at home. It shows them how much we are thinking of them and how much we appreciate all that they are doing.
The parcel can be made up in a shoe box which should not weigh more than 2kg when parcelled up. The package may be sent free of charge from any UK post office. The address to send them to is Sgt Ben Greer, 1310 Flight, JHFA, OP Herrick, BFPO, 772.
