I READ, with disdain, the article regarding recycling; that the district council is spending money to enable them to find who is and who is not, putting their re-cycling bins out and what they are actually putting in the said bins.

As we are only two people living in our house, who buy fresh food with very little packaging, our bins take longer than a fortnight to fill.

We take our paper and bottles to the appropriate re-cycling units and take our clothing to charity shops.

As we are out at work when the bins are emptied will it mean a member of staff calling after we come home, to take us to task?

Add this cost to the technology they are willing to spend our money on to gather this information and we are looking at yet another reason to put up Council Tax!.
