NENE Infant School pupils’ journey through time took them to the Victorian era this week as they learned the ancient art of bread making.
Youngsters in Year Two donned Victorian outfits and costumes for a week-long range of activities related to the historical period.
As well as learning old playground games and taking a visit to Wisbech Castle, caterers also came in to teach the children how to make some dough.
Year Two teacher Sally Kirby said: “This week there was lots of activity for the children and hands-on experience as this brings the topic to life, especially for history.”
