THIS week I saw another inappropriate sign at the side of a Fenland road. The BP petrol station at the Freedom Bridge roundabout in Wisbech was advertising petrol at 103.9p per litre, on the same day that BP announced huge profits. It was not just that which I found annoying, but the fact that at King's Lynn petrol was 8p a litre cheaper, and even at Tesco in Wisbech, it cost less than £1 a litre.
