Their return had been eagerly awaited and the locals were not disappointed.

About 80 people listened to some outstanding gospel signing and joined in the prayers of praise which their London visitors led them in.

Isabella Alecock chair of the Rosmini Social committee who had made the local arrangements expressed her delight at the beautiful music.

Rev Garry Jarett from the Ark Church conveyed his pleasure at the warm welcome, including the local delicious food prepared by the social committee and local church members.

Parish priest Fr John Doman summed up the mood of the event by stating that it was so pleasing to see all ages singing and praying together with great smiles on their faces.
