THIS summer marks 10 years since Labour voted to introduce the National Minimum Wage.
Looking back, I think this is one of Labour's proudest achievements in Government. We have built on this by increasing the minimum wage to £5.73 for workers over 21 from October and bringing in better safeguards.
But what working people in Fenland want to know, is how we are going to make sure that all working people benefit from improved employment standards.
I am standing to be an MP to fight for the rights of working people in Fenland and I'll always do what I can.
If you think a rogue employer is not paying up then please get in touch with me via my website www.roberts4necambs.co.uk or call the National Minimum Wage Helpline on 0845 6000 678.
