ON Saturday August 29 I phoned Jonathan Farmer with a view to discussing the ongoing Market Place debacle.
I was told I have no right to comment as I don’t live in the Borough.
Sorry, but we don’t have Borough status in Leverington. Mr Farmer, tell that to the shop keepers and stall holders when we go out of town to shop. I go to Peterborough and King’s Lynn to shop because, being a blue badge holder I don’t get mowed down by cars and cycles.
If my research is correct we have only one councillor who was in the initial discussions over 20 years to ban cars except blue badge holders on the Market Place.
Mr Farmer, sorry to disturb your plastering I would not have bothered you had I known.
