THE March Lions would like to take this opportunity of thanking everyone for their generous contributions to our collection for the BBC's children in Need charity, held in Tesco's Superstore: we raised some £446 all of which will be sent to them to help swell the overall funds.

The presentation of the raffle prizes - a painting, and a first edition calendar by John Abbott, was made to the two lucky winners.
