ON the subject of the proposed new homelessness hostel I would like to ask how Mr Bolam thinks he knows the majority view of Wisbech residents any more than Cllr Tierney.
Also he intimates that Cllr Tierney agrees with the adjective used to describe the homeless when it was made more than clear in his online blog that he does NOT.
I have lived in the area for many years and do not think that the Queens Hotel building is a suitable place for a hostel.
I also think that the two hostels we already have in a small town is enough.
Whilst having sympathy for the plight of the homeless we also need to think about the impact on our town of another hostel in such a prominent place.
I wonder if Mr Bolam would be in the same frame of mind if the proposed hostel were to be built in our lovely Crescent.
