IT has been announced that the Thomas Clarkson School tee-shirts are to cost £4.50 each and the jumpers £6 each.

It does seem to be a bit steep when you consider most of the children who go to the school are classified as living in a deprived area.

I know the school has to pay back the money it owes to Cambridgeshire County Council, but the question has to be asked: How much profit is the school making on the school clothing?

If I go to a major supermarket I'm sure I could get three tee-shirts for the price of their one.

So what we need to do is send our children in plain white tee-shirts in September as I am not going to be ripped off by the functionalists at this school who intend to make money out of the working class.

Remember, it is the majority voice which counts, not the minority.
