A RANGE of beauty therapy treatments and home-made crafts were offered in a ladies evening to raise money for a Wisbech school.
Ramnoth Road Junior School Home School Association (HSA) raised nearly �800 in their Ladies Pamper and Craft Evening last Friday offering hand-crafted jewellery, cakes, crystal healing, reflexology and electro-magnet therapy.
Viv MacRae, Wisbech deputy Mayor and school governor, opened the event which aimed to raise money to buy special seating as part of the school’s centerary celebrations.
A school spokesman said: “The event, which also offered greetings cards, fabrics, refreshments, nail art, and reiki, was greatly supported by local businesses that displayed posters and donated raffle prizes. By the end of the evening, everyone had a good time raising �774.72 for the school.”
