HAVING read the council tax stories last week it has prompted me to write and tell you about my unbelievable situation.
I paid my bill for November on November 10, after calling Fenland Hall and being informed if I paid by that date all would be okay.
On November 20, I received a summons, demanding December & January payments plus £68 court costs for paying 10 days late.
Hardly a high value debtor, as the council would perhaps like to call me, it would be interesting to hear their reaction to this disgusting state of affairs.
