I AM writing to you on behalf of the Chatteris, St Ives and District branch of Cats Protection, to inform you and you readers about a fundraising event we have coming up.
On Monday April 13 we will be running a bank holiday car park scheme in St Ives. We will be available from about 8.30am for cars wanting to park, and the event will be sign-posted to the Slepe Hall car park.
Parking will cost 50p for each car, with 100per cent of the money going to help needy cats in the branch area.
We take part in this scheme every year, and it has always been a success for us.
