IN response to all those that feel that it is necessary to complain about the beautiful Fenland skyline being somehow desecrated by the erection of countless wind turbines, the simple fact remains that if we do not do something to halt the rise in CO2 levels that we responsible for then here simply will be no Fenland skyline.
As we see almost daily on the news the world is heating up and ice caps are melting, this can only mean that sea levels are rising, which surely puts us in flat Fenland right in the firing line.
Objections to wind turbines, I am afraid, are Nimbyism and hypocrisy of the worst kind.
