I READ with interest, David Kelly's letter 'Honour the Veterans' in last week's Cambs Times.
It was with interest, because I have just been notified that I am to be presented with the new Elizabeth Cross and Memorial Scroll on behalf of my brother, who was killed in Cyprus on June 7 1958 during the EOKA terrorist up-rising.
I am honoured to receive this decoration and to know that my late brother's service and sacrifice has been recognised.
As no doubt, should you print this letter, David Kelly will be pleased to read.
