THE neighbourhood panel meetings for those interested in shaping the priorities set by the Neighbourhood Policing Team in Elm is to be held on Wednesday January 30 at Elm C of E Primary School (7.30pm).
Residents of Elm, Friday Bridge, Coldham and Rings End are eligible to attend.
The Parish Council is concerned about the volume of traffic, the speeds and parking throughout the ward. If residents are also concerned about these matters, they should attend and let their voices be heard.
The Parish Council chairman, Councillor Nick Pooley, believes that if people remain silent it is only a matter of time before one of our local children is hurt or even worse.
Elm's problems are mirrored throughout Fenland and the rest of the country and the police must hear the same complaints time and time again - traffic, anti-social behaviour and thefts. However, this is the opportunity for local people to have a say in what happens throughout their ward.
