Busy weekend for the Bishop of Ely as he’s obliged to conduct no less than seven ordination services to observe Covid-19 compliance

This year  deacons were ordained by Bishop Stephen in Ely Cathedral over a series of seven services, held between Friday 25th September and Sunday 27th September

Seven services over a weekend saw the ordination of new deacons into the Church of England by the Bishop of Ely, the Rt Revd Stephen Conway, at Ely Cathedral.

This year new deacons were ordained by Bishop Stephen in Ely Cathedral over a series of seven services, held between Friday 25th September and Sunday 27th September.

The services were restricted in numbers attending because of Covid-19 regulations and held between Friday September 25 and Sunday September 27.

Family, friends, and parishioners were able to view the services through live streaming on YouTube.
