Students from East Cambridgeshire and Fenland claimed top honours at one of the largest taekwondo competitions of the year. 

The Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do took 37 students to the TAGB British Championships in Worcester, winning 24 medals in total. 

Pupils were amongst more than 1,300 competitors as they took part in pattern, sparring, destruction, power pad, team sparring and team pattern events during the day. 

Mark Farnham said: “To win any award at this event is a very serious achievement, so very well done to the students.”
