Archant

Rob Phipps who was looking after dogs is obviously a caring good guy to be admired.

However, many of the supportive letters in the Cambs Times were a bit emotive and were blaming the RSPCA.

From what I understand, and if I’m wrong stand to be corrected, it was the council that closed the warehouse because it was being used for the wrong purpose.

The RSPCA had to take most of the dogs because they had nowhere else to go.

I am sure Rob Phipps because of what he is, will start up again somewhere else.

If someone wants to open a fund to help him out I will gladly give.

Incidentally I wonder if there would be as much fuss if it was an old folks care home or young children’s nursery being closed.

  • Rob is amazing with his dogs and is such a caring and loving person and does everythink for these dogs. These dogs are were getting loads of love and food and a home. And its disgusting to see what the RSPCA havr done disturbing them ans tak8ng them away from a good home and other dogs already had a good home but rob was looking after them due to personal reason the person was then unable to get them back thats not animal care at all. RCPCA will lose alot of of donation and respect cause of this. Maybe it should be taken into public hands obviously you anit doing your jobs correctly!!!

  • Mr Harvey the old People can speak for themselves and children also have a voice, but a dog relies on people to care and help them. The fuss was these dogs came into Rob in a state and he cared and taught them and they have now regained trust in people. Unfortunately they have now been taken away so who knows what will happen to them in the future. There was a great deal of fuss when the local Old People's Home closed down.
