A NEW art exhibition will go on display at the Octavia View community hub gallery in Wisbech throughout the month of March.

Chatteris artist Richard Savage will display a wide range of paintings and drawings including wildlife, aviation and figurative work.

There will be a variety of framed prints and original work on display and unframed prints and art cards will also be available.

The exhibition begins with an evening reception on Friday March 1, from 7pm until 9pm, with the opportunity to chat with Richard and enjoy viewing the work.

Richard recently exhibited at the Menier Gallery in Southwark, London, and will be exhibiting at The Gallery on the Corner in Battersea, London next month. His first non-fiction book, Beauty in Every Form, will be published this spring.

The exhibition can be viewed between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 4pm on Saturday.

Octavia View can be accessed through the Octavia’s Shop on South Brink or from the Somers Road car park. Those who visit between Wednesday and Saturday from 10am until 4pm can take advantage of Octavia’s Café and grab a homemade cake and a cup of tea.
