Wisbech tennis prospect shines for Cambridgeshire

Seven year-old Sophie Tjurina shone for Cambridgeshire in the inter-county championships.

She won all her matches to help Cambridgeshire finish third out of eight teams at the tournament which was held at the Gosling Tennis Centre in Hertfordshire.

Tjurina, of Wisbech, trains at the LK Tennis Academy based at the Thomas Clarkson Academy.

The academy gives players of all ages and abilities the chance to take part.
