Wisbech pool ace McCarthy pots his way to glory in Derbyshire tournament

POOL hotshot Darren McCarthy potted his way past county and international players to triumph at a tournament in Derbyshire.
The Wisbech cueman cruised past four opponents to take the 8-ball pool trophy, winning 7-4 in the final.
McCarthy, who was selected for the England A-team last year, will take on the top 48 players from across the country in the grand finals later this month.
