RUNNING: Success for four Fenland Running Club members at Wissey Half Marathon

Four Fenland Running Club members competed in the Wissey Half Marathon in the countryside around Oxborough Village at the weekend.

The event was organised by the Norfolk-based Ryston Runners Athletics Club.

In a field of 220 finishers, Martin Jennings moved up the rankings by claiming a third place overall and 1st MV45 with a new PB time of 1:21:05.

Jane Greenwood continued her golden streak by finishing 110th and 2nd in the LV55+ in a time of 1:54:21.

Andy Wicklen was close behind finishing 115th in 1:56:21.

Carol Slater-Garner also bagged a new personal best, finishing 166th in 2:12:18.
