Fenland cadets commemorated the heroes of the Second World War at a church service.
Twelve cadets from 272 (Wisbech) Squadron took part in the Battle of Britain Day service held at All Saints Church, Walsoken.
The service was led by the Revd Allan Landall with the sermon given by Revd Duncan Keys, the Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire Wing Chaplain.
The 272 Squadron Banner and Royal Air Force Association (RAFA) Standard were paraded as part of the service, which concluded at the war memorial with wreaths being laid and a two minutes silence.
Flying Officer Colin Arnold, of 272 Squadron, said: “It is important that we remember the events of World War Two that ensured the freedom we have today.”
The 272 Squadron is looking for new recruits. There is an open evening on Monday at 7.30pm at the Cadet Centre, Sandyland Street, Wisbech.
You must be at least 13 years old to join. Intake night is on Thursday October 3 at 7.15pm
