Two flu clinics held in the past couple of weeks were attended by 1,329 patients.
Among them was the Mayor of Whittlesey, Councillor David Mason, who visited the flu clinic at the New Queen Street Surgery, Whittlesey, on Saturday October 26.
Members of the Patient Participation Group organised cake stalls which raised £157 towards buying a blood pressure monitor for the practice’s waiting room.
This piece of kit means patients would not have to make an appointment for routine blood pressure tests.
Group members also handed out patient questionnaires and spoke to patients.
Weekly sessions will be held at the practice so patients who were unable to attend the flu clinics can make appointments to have flu vaccinations.
