Work will start on a two-week £285,000 project to improve a stretch of a major road on March 3.

Contractors will improve the safety and surface of the A1101 between Tydd Gote and Four Gotes in Fenland.

Working hours will be between 7pm-6am, with the road closed and a signed diversion in place.

Access to properties will be maintained at all times, but drivers are being advised to allow extra time for their journey or to find an alternative route.
