TRAFFIC backed up in Wisbech this morning after a two-vehicle crash on Lynn Road.

Emergency services were called to the collision, which happened near to the junction with Mount Pleasant Road, shortly before 9.15am. It involved an Escort van and a Ford Mondeo.

A police spokesman said the crash was causing “some disruption but traffic is moving through slowly”.

The spokesman said that nobody was thought to be seriously injured.
