More than £6000 of cigarettes and tobacco were seized in Wisbech.

Officers working in partnership with Fenland District Council and Wisbech Fire Station took the stash worth £6800.

An image posted on the Policing Wisbech page on Facebook showed dozens of boxes of laid out the office floor.

Trading Standards are now investigating.

The post stated: “Report any suspicious or illegal selling. Crimestoppers #Op Pheasant #0388”
