POLICE are appealing for information after diesel was stolen from a yard in Chatteris.

Thieves broke into an outbuilding at the yard, in Fenton Way, between 7.30am on March 6 and 6.30am the following day.

They stole diesel and a battery from a tractor and fuel, a space heater and an extension lead from a forklift truck.

Det Sgt Matt Swash, investigating, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone who may have any information about these thefts.”
